Ashley O. Martin, APRN, CNP
Became a member of Ocean State Cardiovascular and Vein Center in October of 2018 as a Registered Nurse (RN) then transitioned to her position as a Nurse Practitioner in February of 2020, when she received her degree as a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner. She specializes in adult gerontology acute care with a focus on diagnosing and managing chronic/acute cardiology related conditions with the goal of decreasing patients’ mortality and increasing their overall quality of life. Prior to her working with Ocean State Cardiovascular and Vein Center she worked as the lead nurse in the cardiac catheterization laboratory at Landmark Medical Center where she assisted in daily noninvasive and invasive procedures  and on call myocardial infarctions along with training inexperienced staff, aiding in implementing the new electronic medical documentation system and was a member of the patient satisfaction committee.
